With almost seven times the recording density of VHS tape, Maxell Professional DV provides enhanced durability in various environments and in repetitive situations such as high-speed playback, editing and rewinding.

With the introduction of a multipuretron vapor-deposited film, protected by a diamond like carbon lattice, Maxell Professional DV provides higher output and better picture quality than Mini DV. In addition, the cassette is housed in a specially designed PP storage case that effectively resists dust, heat and shock.
